One thing I enjoy drinking both hot and cold is tea. How I drink my tea depends on my mood. During the hot summer months, I like to enjoy a nice glass of iced tea to quench my thirst. During the winter months like like this month, I sometimes will enjoy a nice hot cup of tea in the morning to get my day started on the right track.

I am a big fan of raspberry, so I am pairing the Lipton Green Tea Superfruit Red Goji and Raspberry flavor with my simple homemade Apple Butter Scones. I actually drank a hot cup of this YUMMY tea this morning with my Apple Butter Scones drenched with pure and creamy honey. For those of you that have never tried the white, creamy honey, you are missing out!

Apple Butter Scones Recipe and a Hot Cup Of Lipton Green Tea Superfruit + Giveaway
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 TBS baking powder
- 1/2 TSP salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup apple butter
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions

In a large bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and mix until blended.

Next add egg, butter, sour cream, apple butter and milk and mix/knead until mixture turns into dough form that does not stick to your hands. You can also use a stand mixer using the dough hook which is easier.

On a floured surface, use a rolling pin, flatten dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into triangle/wedge shapes and place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden grown.

Remove from oven and serve!
