In just two days I will be in the kitchen cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner for my family. I think this has to be one of my FAVORITE days of the year when I get to put my cooking skills to the test. I have already planned out all the dishes I will be making, including the appetizers and desserts.
When it comes to dishes that I make on this special day, I always make green bean casserole. Out of all the vegetables that you can think of, my family LOVES green beans. This is the one vegetable that I can put on their plates that they will all eat. Since Thanksgiving is just a couple days away, I thought I would share with you this YUMMY recipe for green bean casserole that includes Libby’s Green Beans and BACON!

Big oops. I followed the “Mom’s green bean casserole” recipe yesterday for Thanksgiving, but fortunately, I didn’t serve it because another guest also brought green bean casserole and I didn’t want any competition. I say fortunately because I used the ingredients on the ingredient list and found a discrepancy after putting them all together. The ingredient list said sugar, and the directions said salt! Big difference! I used sugar, but I didn’t even try it as I sent the full dish home with my mother. I assume it was supposed to be salt rather than sugar, but you never know. Please post the corrected recipe and I will give it another try sometime. I give it two stars because sounds delightful, but the recipe itself needs serious editing. It should include an amount of time in the oven, the ingredients should be listed in order of use, and they should be accurate!

I really apologize for the error. I have changed the recipe to say salt instead of sugar.
